RT Model and Talent has been booking talent for over a decade and continues to grow with exceptional talent. Janis Rovick is the agency director and booking agent. She manages and promotes, models, actors, singers, dancers and entertainers. Since Janis was a model/actress/dancer herself, she knows what high expectations you should have in pursuing an agent and the personal guidance that is needed to help and develop modeling and acting careers. We are not a school. Our job is to manage and promote models and talent. RT continues to work with clients on TV and film, print, runway, music videos and promotional projects. RTA is available to choreograph runway shows and television commercials.
Janis began her professional debut at the age of 9 years old at Starlight Theatre, portraying Ngana in South Pacific. She has performed in many productions; among them, The King and I, starring Yul Bryner, Carousel, Show Boat to name a few. Other credits include serving as Tap Challenge Coordinator for Tri-Star Productions, handling the competition of tap dancers for “Tap”, a movie starring Gregory Hines and Sammy Davis, Jr. She has appeared in numerous print publications, television commercials, fitness videos, and the Waldo Astoria Theatre.
Janis has numerous credits in Children’s Television Specials. She was the director of the Jack and Jill Player’s Dance and Theatre School for over twenty years. This group performed for civic and charitable events and was well known for their yearly television specials. The goal of this school was to develop talent to the highest level. Several models have been placed in international markets such as Milan and national markets, working in York City and Los Angeles. RT Models have been booked recently in national commercials for Sonic, Budweiser and Wendy’s. Local bookings for Google, Sprint, Saint Luke’s Hospital, Marriott, and Hallmark Cards to name a few.
RT has also been involved with Personal Appearance Tours in Kansas City by providing stylists for a few films such as the making of “Atlantis:The Lost Empire”, "Vince Vaughn Wild West Comedy Tour”, starring Brett Ernst, “The Thing About My Folks”, starring Peter Faulk and Paul Reiser, "Disney's George of the Jungle", staring Christopher Showerman, and “Kite Runner”, starring Ershadi Honayown.
